Hi All, I’m Amy, I’m 34 and I live in London.
I’ve got mild diplegia CP affecting my legs, I manage well with most things but I still have my struggles.
Until recently I’ve spent the last 14 years working in west end theatre but due to Covid I was made redundant. My health isn’t the best at the moment so I can’t work right now and boy it’s an adjustment.
I’m really into music, theatre & tv.
I look forward to getting to know you all!
Amy ?

Hello @Weebs1986 and a warm welcome to our online community! How are you doing today?
I'm sorry you were made redundantCovid-19 has impacted so many areas of life hasn't it and I hope that this time out helps you with adjusting to your health needs. Are you getting enough support with your CP do you think? I'll tag in our resident CP information specialist @Richard_Scope as he is a font of knowledge for all things CP-related.
You're in the right spot if you like music, theatre and TV so feel free to start any conversations about that if you like in our virtual coffee lounge. What kind of TV do you enjoy most? I'm a crime drama fan and devour box sets like smarties!
I hope you can enjoy some of the lovely weather we're having this weekend and just give us a shout if you need any help. Take care and speak soon.0 -

sorry to hear about your redundancy, have you anything in mind now?0 -
Hi @Weebs1986 - & welcome to the community. Your work sounded very interesting, so I'm sure you must miss it, & I'm sorry your health isn't great at the moment too. My main interests are reading, & getting out into the garden, especially with the good weather we've been having. I look forward to seeing you around the forum.0

Great chatting with you @Weebs1986 - one of my favourite genres is crime fiction, &, tho I don't watch TV much, I really liked 'Killing Eve.'You're wise to mention pacing yourself; this can be so important with many conditions. It's great to read you have an interest in perhaps volunteering with victim support.0
