Wheelchair accessible parks (London)

I'm looking for an accessible park I can take my mum to. She's based in NW11 and I'd need to take her there by taxi. Ideally somewhere attractive, flat and accessible with cafe/toilets.

Welcome to the community @ayshigal
I'm afraid that I don't live in that area, and don't know London well at all.
This website has a potential list of accessible outdoor spaces in London- perhaps you could have a look through and see if any look suitable and close enough to your mum's location?0 -
Hi @ayshigal - & welcome to the community. I've had a look online, & wonder if Golders Hill Park would be suitable. There's a disabled car park, tho I suppose with a taxi you could get dropped off at the entrance (traffic permitting), & a cafe with toilets (tho I can't find if they have a disabled toilet if that would be needed). You could phone to enquire: 020 7332 3322. Some info below:0

Thanks both for your helpful replies. I'm staggered how difficult it's proving to find this information. Unfortunately, Golders Hill park isn't at all suitable as it's very hilly and we would be limited to the area around the cafe (I know the park well). I've remembered about a privately run garden in Barnet that might suit and will contact them.0

Hope you find somewhere suitable. Sorry Golders Hill Park proves unsuitable..... photos seemed to show several level pathways. I'm many a mile away, so just looked online. Hope the garden in Barnet works out well.0

Thanks. I feel so disappointed that this information isn't more readily available. It's very discriminatory0

@ayshigal Hello from me
Have you tried the Sociability app? This is a new, free mobile and web app that allows people to search, add and share accessibility information with others.
I agree, it's a shame this information isn't more widely available and hopefully with the invention of new apps and spreading of the word, this gap can in some way be remedied.
Fingers crossed you get to take your mum to a park and have a lovely day out0 -
Thanks that's good to know about. How disgraceful there isn't better information out there.0
