Hello to everyone , my name is Dimitrios , newbie here , I am Greek living in Manchester from November 2015 and I am stroke survivor which left me with some problems at my left side , mostly to the arm/hand plus diabetic type 2 with insulin.

    Wow, I am very envious of you having been raised in Greece! How are you finding life in Manchester? I can imagine it's a little different (and colder  :D).

    I'm sorry to hear you had a stroke that's left you with some problems, are you receiving any support with that and your diabetes?

    many many thanks for the welcome Cher !!
    when I first came it was WINDchester , then it was RAINchester , after I got the message for no carrying umbrella with me at all , it was just Manchester :) 
    Stroke happened from uncontrolled diabetes , this incident took place at Greece , I came here and worked all these years with one hand , the right one , left is with spasticity , but because of this some time now I started to have pain with the "good" hand , so I started the PIP procedure .
    I found you accidenally , but you have lot of info and support , so I am happy to be here !!
