Welcome to the community @teresa44 :) This is the welcome post I made for you. You can start a new discussion in the future by clicking the '+ new discussion' button at the top of every page. If you have any questions at all about navigating or using the community, just give us a shout!

I can imagine being new to sight loss might have brought up some feelings and questions. If you need to talk things through, the community is always here for you. We have a category for discussions relating to visual and hearing impairments that you might like to check out, too.

How are you doing today? Do you have any plans for the weekend?

I'm glad they've been helpful @Teresa44 :) Enjoy your walk! The weather isn't that nice where I am, but it could be worse.
