good afternoon everyone i am new to the group.
i would really like some advice please.....i have just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in two places in my right hand. i do experience pain everyday even if i just catch the door handle wrong i am in pain. but the pain can get worse where there was a whole month i could not even use my hand (not even press a button). i am even getting pain just turning my steering while in my car
anyway i put a fit note into universal credit and receive uc50 form in the post, is there anyone that has been granted this award with the same condition as me please?
i was at university training to be a paramedic but took absent of leave due to the pain, i think it got worse then whilst preforming CPR and trying to un-choke choking charlie. its a shame because now i have to give up my career that i worked so hard for.
