Hi all the health assessment has now been sent to dwp last Friday rang and asked for a copy of the report it takes 7/10 days to get here because of the postage chap said. Also my husband received his sight inpaired vision certificate, he has now been registered as legally blind I have senta copy to dwp but I not sure ifcthat will make a difference now to the dission they make.

    Hi @karen1812

Thanks for the update, hopefully your report arrives soon and the decision doesn't take too long.

Good to hear that your husband has had his sight loss registered, that should open him up to much more support. In this instance I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make because PIP is more about how your condition impacts you, not the diagnosis itself.

Yes I understand if brian is awarded pip which we did go into detail about his poor eyesight when filling out the form. Now the physio are talking him out walking a little as still has balance issues and fatigue they have the wheelchair at the ready someday  good past few days not that good but his doing his best he wont let it defeat him. I don't think he will be able to go out on his own but you never know he has surprised me at how well he is doing getting a little stronger.
