LCWRA work capability assessment. Did anyone else not have to attend one?

I’m so sorry I know I’ve already posted a couple of times today but I’m really stressing my anxiety is through the roof, so as I mentioned in my last post I’ve been awarded LCWRA but didn’t have to go for a work capability assessment which I find very strange as it says online that most people need to attend one, is this normal? Is there anyone else that didn’t have to attend an assessment? I’m claiming for my mental health issues and autism
thanks you
thanks you

Hi again
Please stop stressing if you have been awarded that is all you need
While MOST people have assessment either phone or f2f that isn't EVERYONE
Some have like you paper based assessment which means there was enough information in order to make the decision just from your form and evidence
I have had a paper based assessment myself0 -
There’s no need to interpret the way you haven’t had an assessment over the telephone into a “ there must be something wrong” situation. You have been awarded, you just need to wait for payments to commence.Nothing more to do.0

I’ve never been assessed, and my claim went through in 2019. I have just filled out the forms (is this what you mean by paper based @janer1967?)0

Yes that's right they just make a decision based on your form and any further evidence you have sent0

Thankyou. If the illness isn’t going to change at all, do we still have to carry on completing the form? Think I’ve read somewhere that you don’t, but it’s down to whoever makes the decision to qualify for LCWRA.0
