I'm 55 years old ... have had arthritis since I was 24... spent 2 years in a wheel chair ... I suffer from depression stress and anxiety as well as agoraphobia.... I suffered from back pain and spasms due to bulging discs ... I'm in bed at the moment as my back hurts so much ... I think I have now had enough ?

Hi @Paullie1007 :) Welcome to the community. Thanks so much for joining!

Just to let you know, I've moved your post into our category for discussions relating to chronic pain, as it sounds as though that's one of your main concerns at the moment- is that right? I've also renamed your post so it'll be easier for other members to find.

I'm sorry to hear that you're in a lot of pain at the moment, and that you're having to cope with this alongside your mental health conditions.

Are your doctors aware of the amount of pain you're in at the moment? Are you under the care of a pain management team?

I was also wondering whether you're receiving any support for your mental health currently? It's understandable that you'd feel as though you've had enough, but sometimes talking things through with someone or accessing the right kind of medication can make a real difference.

We have other members with similar experiences here on the community, so I hope that the community can be a good source of support for you :)
