Thank you for your kind messages, we have had very little support for my son , he had some help at college what was great, I have been finding it very hard to cope with at times, I'm in constant pain with knee and back that doesn't help but I just get on with it , my son has just got his exam results and passed and received a distinction in his animation work so I'm well proud of him, am looking forward to meeting people on here and finding out tips x

Hello @ness1971 and a warm welcome from me too :)

Well done to your son for achieving a distinction, that's fab! Does he have any idea what he'd like to do next?

And, I can understand how some days would be tough to cope with, having asthma and caring for your lovely son.  I wonder, have you explored having a needs assessment from your local authority to identify and get the support you need?  Also, would a carers assessment be something you'd be interested in to look at helping you manage easier? If not, perhaps give those links a read and give it some thought.

Please let me know if you need any help getting around our community, but otherwise make yourself at home - be that by responding to some of the different discussions in our chat categories or by having a giggle in our virtual coffee lounge.

Take care and have a lovely Friday.
