Hi all do you have to wait 13 weeks before they do the assessment to see if you are going into a group brian put his sick note in on 6th June 2021 and the form had to be back by 2nd August to which we sent back at least 2 weeks before along with a letter from the hospital and a report from the physio team.about his condition. We have not heard a thing back as yet. Was just wondering if they do a paper assessment 5he same as pip did
Thanks Karen.
Thanks Karen.

Although assessments are supposed to happen within 13 weeks assessment waiting times can be long at the moment because there is a backlog.0

Thank you calcotti the same as pip then lol he will only be on it year as he reaches retirement age in June 20220

Yes similar to the pip wait but could be longer
The 13 weeks is the wait period for any payment so if awarded you don't get any payment for the 1st 13 weeks
If assessment is after that he will get backpay to the 4th month after reporting the condition0 -
Thank you xx0
