Hi, I received a larhe payment from PIP 2 weeks ago today, after my review and phone assessment. I still have not recieved an award letter. Is it usual to wait this long for it? Im worried they paid me by mistake.

HI,I know there's a backlog of mail coming from and going to DWP, although a couple of weeks since you received payment is a long time. You may have to ring them to ask them to send another decision letter.0

Hi @Gypsy19
The same thing happened to my daughter (I am her appointee)
Her decision was made on the 3rd, a payment was made soon after and the letter arrived on the 30th!
Just to reassure you, I don't think the DWP pay people PIP "by mistake" at least that's what other members here have said.
Good advice from @poppy123456 to call them though and chase your decision letter (can take just over an hour to get through, so allow plenty of time)
Hope you get your letter soon.. ?0 -
