I would advise to put the MR in writing too not just over the telephone.

Just so you have it in writing, that you have retained a copy and it’s better to have written records then to say “I told them xyz on the telephone”. Ultimately it’s up to you though.

Ok makes sense I’m waiting for a copy of my phone interview thing to work out what’s been said I didn’t get it earlier because the woman on the phone said it’s not set in stone of the info they put have you been through the process yourself?

Hi @rew197979 - I'm sorry you feel your PIP report contained 'inaccuracies.' I second the advice above to put your Mandatory Reconsideration in writing, as there's no guarantee that what you've said will be written down. You can do this with a letter, putting your name & National Insurance number on each page, or use this form: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/683380/if-you-disagree-with-a-decision-made-by-dwp.PDF
With a MR you should say where you think you should have got points, & why, rather than concentrating on your report. Illustrate with a couple of detailed examples as to the difficulty you have for each applicable descriptor/activity.

    Hi

You should always put the mr in writing it not you are relying on the call handler putting everything down you said and that isn't always the case

You need to look at each descriptor you think you should have scored points and give reason why you should score with real examples of what happens when you try and do the task

The assessor doesn't report what you say but their opinion on your functionality based on your comments

Try ignore what the report says but concentrate on your own evidence

Thank you I actually had pip 7 years ago for a year then got a no on the new assessment and I didn’t fight it because it was to stressful I still feel that now but I know I need to me health is a lot worse it’s so disappointing it was over the phone in my decision the person said I walked around fine while on the phone I was in bed not well and I was never asked to walk anywhere it’s very upsetting and I bet lots of people are having the same

I didn’t put anything about the lies in my mr just the actual stuff I said in the beginning everything I said in the mr was not mentioned in my decision letter so there were lies and I’d love to know how this can be stopped I don’t choose to be poorly and would love not to be

It's not unusual for the MR decision letter to be a copy and paste of the original decision letter.

Hello, once you have had your PIP assessment wait a week or so then phone the DWP and request a copy of your assessment report and on receiving it you can work out what your award may should be but you still have to wait for your official award notification letter. If the expected award is not what you think is fair then you will have extra weeks to prepare an MR by getting evidence and information to send in you MR. Remember focus on the descriptors and your inabilities to preform the descriptors/ activities safely and repeatedly  in a timely manner. Give real examples of what does or has happened when you attempt or try to preform each descriptor.

It clearly states in the first post that the OP has already had their decision.
