UC cancelled now I live with my boyfriend and his parents. Is that correct? Can I do anything?

So I moved in with my boyfriend and his parents and immediately had my UC claim cancelled.
I hadn't sent in my WCA form at that point.
Is it correct that they withdrew my claim, saying that it's because we live together as a couple?
Can I do anything to get my claim reinstated, aside from moving out, since that isn't an option?

A UC claim doesn't just get canceled. As you're living with your partner whether you're entitled to any UC will totally depend on both of your circumstances. If your partner works then earnings received will affect the amount of UC you're entitled to.As you're living with your partners parents then you won't be able to claim for any help with the rent. Use a benefits calculator to check entitlement. Or if your partner works if you can tell us their earnings we can help you to calculate whether or not you're entitled to any UC.0

You became part of a couple. When you moved in and reported the change on your UC journal your partner should then have been required to claim UC as well. Your two claims would be treated as a joint claim and any payment entitlement calculated on your joint circumstances. Whether or not there is any entitlement depends on your joint circumstances.0

The WCA stuff makes no difference then; I take it?
And sending it back earlier wouldn't have let me keep my claim open?0 -
It depends on your partners earnings if they work. When you moved in with your partner did they claim UC with you? You have't given enough of information for anyone to give more advice.

When you told Uc you are now part of a couple they should have informed you that you partner needed to claim UC so that your joint circumstances could be assessed.0
