Hi
There’s a full 3 month assessment periods of waiting time and the LCWRA is then paid from the 4th month. How much you’re owed will depend on the date you reported your health condition and the dates of your assessment period. The LCWRA is payable from either August or September depending on those exact dates mentioned above. Although it’s not clear whether it’s 2020 or 2021 that you started sending the fit notes. It can sometimes take a few weeks to receive any money owed.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
I started sending sickness soon as I claimed in March 2020. Then I passed my medical last week..

No worries. This is assuming your UC doesn't already include the LCWRA element for a partner.

Hi @wayneharrison190772 - & welcome to the community. So long as you have been sending continuous sick notes in, as Poppy advises, then the LCWRA would be payable from July 2020, &, as also advised, it can take a few weeks to receive this unfortunately, but not 3 months.

For them to be able to work out how much money you’re owed they will be recalculating your monthly statements. This means that your current ones will be gone and replaced with new ones, so if you want to keep a record of them you will need to make sure you screen shot them because they will be lost once recalculated.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please.
