help with pip aid and appliance

hi please can any body help , i have osteoarthritis in knees and shoulder s just applied for pip but i do not have any aid or appliances , not sure what to do regarding this when this applies with activity eg cooking etc. i have changed my kettle because of pain in shoulder but thats it really try to manage with everything else as i my carer for my husband its hard

It doesn't matter that you don't have any aids. PIP is awarded because of the help you need, regardless of whether or not you receive help.You can also refer yourself to your local Council for a needs assessment. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/help-from-social-services-and-charities/getting-a-needs-assessment/
