I am wondering because it seems it has happened a couple of times from these posts, whether or not, the DWP have decided to monitor calls because of the bad press they have been getting such as allegations of falsifying reports, It's Just a thought.

Being health professionals and a health-related organisation they have a duty to get people who are vulnerable help if they are not already receiving it I imagine.

Safeguarding is a duty in all organisations but I imagine they can be broader about it in health-related professions.
They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

I don't think it's acceptable the amount of totally false reports from so called health professionals and something should be done to make reports more accurate.
Health professionals should have minimum standards or be replaced by others who can meet the minimum standards and the minimum standards should include all reports should be accurate no more cut and paste rubbish inserted into bespoke health reports.
The added stress and anxiety for claimants is not fair.
The added expense to the taxpayers is unfair.
The only ones who benefit from the present system are the assessment companies who are paid millions to perform the service.

I agree. I didn't even request my report when I was awarded PIP as my anxiety wouldn't allow me to read any falsehoods. I am due another assessment in November, which I am already dreading, it takes me a long time to recover from it.  I am hoping it's not another 2-hour one, as the last one,  I didn't ask about the assessor's professional qualification but perhaps I will next time, as this time I will have an advocate/carer there with me for when it becomes too much and if my mind goes blank, as it often does.

I had my telephone assessment a few weeks ago and she told me she was contacting my doctors. I had a call and appointment made the very next day as she though I needed the help also.

I think that is lovely. My psychologist contacted my doctor stating I needed more help, but it would be lovely if the assessor did the same thing for me because it shows there is empathy and care. I often wonder if they get bonuses for saying people aren't entitled to PIP.  I guess the only people that can answer that are the assessors.
