Anyone else with Long Covid symptoms?

nannymaroon Member Posts: 372 Courageous
I had both Pfizer jabs and still got covid within 3months of the second jab. I nearly died but I'm much better now. BUT, it's left me with serious health problems and worsened  the symptoms of my pre existing conditions: Lupus, fibromyalgia and cardio vascular disease. The most annoying thing is that I have now been diagnosed with heart failure and kidney problems due to covid. The exhaustion and all over body pain is horrendous.  Most days I can't get out of bed to make a meal  or have a wash. I was able to fight to get carers in 4 times a week. I'm so grateful for everything they do, today my carer gave me a bath. I wept for an hour due to the pain of moving about and going upstairs to the bathroom.
I've not been able to find out much about Long Covid or how others are coping. I suspect that it is/will be a massive health concern for thousands who have recovered from the virus.
