If awarded lcwra, do you receive that payment on top of another payment?

Hi had my assessment this morning for lcwra the lady I spoke to was lovely which obviously helps your anxiety
I may have already asked this before (apologies if so )
if awarded lcwra
my heath condition was reported august 2021
fit note September
assessment period is 6th
payment 12tg
if backdated what month will they owe me from ?No gaps in my first notes -
What date in August was health condition reported?
If it was after 6th August it means you reported in the August - September AP. The waiting period would then be September to December. The LCWRA element element, if awarded, would be payable for December to January (the January payment).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
Hi Thankyou for reply health condition was reported 06/08
-
Also to ask for a copy of the report is it on your journal you would request this ?

poppy123456 said:That means your assessment periods are 6th-5th of each month. Your waiting period will be Aug/sept, Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov. LCWRA would start from AP 6th Nov/5th Dec with first payment being 12th Dec but only if found to have LCWRA.
For the report you can put a message onto your journal but do be aware they won’t always agree to send it before the decisions been made for the WCA. -
Ok Thankyou poppy
sorry I did say apologies if already asked that question -
Hi poppy yes my work coach said I can’t receive it till a decision been made 🙄
was only yesterday anyway so just leave it now till there decisions been made as I know this can take so time -
It only causes more anxiety anyway to be honest. Sometimes when claiming UC the decision on the WCA is made within a week of having the assessment. Though some people do wait longer.
-
Oh hopefully I could be one of the lucky ones then thanks again poppy
will update you on the outcome -
Hi poppy quick question the uc are saying my report is not uploaded onto the system yet ? Am confused as the assessment people said they sent it straight away
what does this mean please
could it still be with the case manager for a decision and they just haven’t put it on the system yet ? Or is it lost ? -
It's returned digitally so i don't under the "it's not loaded onto the system yet" are the assessment providers sure it's been returned? There's nothing more you can do anyway until a decision's been made. Once it has the letter will be uploaded onto your journal. It's only been 5 days since your assessment, which isn't really that long.
-
Yes I know it’s very soon since the assessment I was just wanting to see the report
I don’t understand it’s not loaded on the system yet myself so strange isn’t it -
I did advise this the other day..poppy123456 said:poppy123456 said:That means your assessment periods are 6th-5th of each month. Your waiting period will be Aug/sept, Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov. LCWRA would start from AP 6th Nov/5th Dec with first payment being 12th Dec but only if found to have LCWRA.

Yer am thinking am not going to receive it now anyway so suppose I will have to just wait till there decision is made
-
Hi poppy I finally received my medical report from the assessor who has recommended LCWRA hopefully the DM goes with this recommendation
-
Also poppy if dm goes with assessor report then does the uc leave you alone ? Like do you still have to speak
with work coach ? -
If found to have LCWRA there will be no work commitments.
-
Hopefully I will get my decision soon it is known for them to go with the assessor report isn’t it
but also can go against it
she has wrote a recommendation of medium term do you know what this means poppy ? -
They mostly do yes but it has been known for them to go against it.LCWRA is an ongoing award and will continue to be paid until another decision says otherwise, there's no end date like there is for PIP. However, you can be reassessed anytime from 3 months. Although with the length of backlogs, that would be unlikely to happen. All you can do is wait for the decision.
-
Oh makes me feel better that it’s ongoing
an yer shudnt be much longer now
thanks again poppy for your advice much appreciated
