Melaniejayne64 said:Hi I've just had a PIP assessment this morning it lasted about 40 minutes. I am worried because I wasn't asked any thing about bank detailsInformation I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

The timescales for decision can be anything from 2 to 12 weeks some even longer
-
Thank you for that, it just seems unusual to me that I haven't filled out any forms I haven't given any proof I've got plenty but I just get that telephone call and that's it. their going to make a decision on that a 40 minute phone call.
-
I agree it isn't the normal process they follow wait and see what the decision is and if not in your favour put this in the mr
Alternatively you could give them a call to see why this has happened -
Thanks I'll do that, knowing my luck they'll probably say I'm fit for work and take everything off.me.

Hi Poppy, thanks for that information ldid t know that. I was so worried about not having sent in specialist letters that I cloned them and ask them and they explain things to me so I'm a bit clearer on everything now.

Sorry about the typos I am using my microphone as my fingers don't work very well to type. I don't think my microphone likes my accent because often I forget to read it and just send it's embarrassing. Lol.
-
There's no need to be embarrassed @Melaniejayne64 We all make typos, and your comments have been easy to read, which is the important thing.
I'm glad that everything seems a bit clearer now. Please do let us know if you have any further questions! -
Thank you.

Yes I know that now because I phoned pip the following day and they very kindly explained to me why my case was happening the way that it is. They did ask me the name of my bank and Sort number I know that means nothing so I'll have to wait and see what happens. Thank you for replying to me.
-
Hi @Melaniejayne64 it must have been reassuring to have it explained on the phone call.
I wish you all the best for a positive outcome, hopefully you'll hear soonOnline Community Coordinator
