Hi,
I am a children’s physiotherapist.
I am a children’s physiotherapist.
My son is one year old, I had noticed he has a clear hand preference and occasional high tone, associated movements and some difficulties in reaching milestones.
After pushing for an assessment, it has been discussed he most likely has a mild hemiplegia and we are waiting for an MRI to confirm a CP diagnosis.
It’s such a strange feeling being on the other side of the consultation table. As part of my role I’ve reassured and educated parents, but right now I feel a little lost.
