The article on the post impairment syndrome was very interesting. I have being experiencing all of the mentioned symptoms for the last two to three years. I don't think lockdown helped. I had to highlight this to my GP and her answer was antidepressants ? To manage my fatigue. How do others manage their fatigue. I am glad to say that my employer have agreed to reduce my hours. HR have just waiting for the cogged to proceed . I have applied for PIP waiting for results .

Post-Impairment Syndrome (PIS), is fairly common but it has taken the medical world a while to classify it and catch up.
There are a few ways to manage Fatigue. I manage mine with regular strength training (very good for people with CP) and I take magnesium supplements and bathe in Epsom salts. The key thing is getting to know your body really and not being afraid to say no to things. Those were the game changers for me. It might be helpful to show your GP this video, to help increase their knowledge.
So glad that you have decided to apply for PIP!1 -
Thanks I have forwarded the helpful video to my GP . I guess that if I want an official prognosis I'd have to attend the CP hospital in Londo ???0

Your GP can and should refer you to the Adult CP Pathway which is the multi-disciplinary team in London. The MDT will have more of an idea of where you are at compared to a GP. Unless your GP knows you particularly well.1
