how are you today?
I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with regards to PNES. Are you currently receiving medical support from a doctor that you can trust/be honest with?
The community is a great space to meet new friends and ask any questions that you might be unsure about with regards to your own health experiences or others. To start, I would recommend the coffee lounge as it's a nice place to socialise and play some fun games.
If you have any other queries or questions, please just let us know as we are here to help.

Hi @Tre
Welcome to Scope's forum. It is great to see you have joined us. Unfortunately, I have no advice to provide other than to talk to people you trust. However, I did want to say why oh why is this too often a common experience for people with chronic conditions
I am so glad you found the courage to reach out to us. I always appreciate how much courage it must take to reach out, especially for the first time. If there's anything specific we can do to support you, please don't hesitate to let us know!Community Volunteer Adviser with professional knowledge of education, special educational needs and disabilities and EHCP's. Hi,The first step to care and support would be a needs assessment. Once this is done it will determine whether help/support can be given. You will also have a financial assessment, this is to work out how much you'll have to pay towards the cost of the care you receive. The rest can be paid through direct payments. The money from this can only be used on what's stated in your needs assessment. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/money-work-and-benefits/personal-budgets/
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
