Esa change of address and doctor

Hi I’ve just a few days ago moved in to my partners flat and had to change doctors. I’m going to call Esa up tomorrow to tell them this. I recently received my decision letter to say I’m in the support group category, will this change or affect my claim?
Also I’m really quite sick with my health and I’ve not been able to go to work, I’ve been off since July and been in hospital in between. I’m wondering if me quitting my job will also affect my esa claim as it’s an extreme struggle at the moment.

Thanks,
Alex

It sounds like you are claiming New Style ESA which won’t be affected when moving in with your partner because it’s not means tested. Quoting your job will not affect your ESA.
You will need to report a change of address but not change of GP.
do you claim any other benefits and does your partner claim any benefits?

Yeah I’m on the new style ESA, my partner isn’t on any benefits. I also get pip for my health condition.
So I don’t need to tell them about a change of doctors?

    Thanks

As advised, only a change of address needs to be notified. As you also claim PIP, then advise them of your change of address too. Unless you have changed your bank account, then nothing else needs to be notified.

Change of doctor isn't in itself a change of circumstances, so no need to tell them that. I've moved house many times since i've claimed benefits and never told them of change of doctor. You can do that when you have your work capability assessment review, sometime in the future.

Thank you so much, I worry about everything. Such an over thinker! Really appreciate all the advice :)

As I’ve been off work so long my job give me regular review meetings over the phone to ask if I’m better and can come back in. I’m sure they will probably sack me soon, so I’m wondering if I’m better off quitting as I’m still not well enough. If I quit my job would that be something I have to inform esa?

I wouldn't advise you to just quit without first getting some expert advice from somewhere like ACAS. It doesn't affect your ESA whether you remain in your job or quit. You claimed ESA because of your health condition that limits your ability to work, that doesn't change by quiting a job you no longer do.
