Could anyone help me with a bit of advice about council tax disregard for my daughter please? She is 19 and works full time and lives with me and my youngest daughter that is 18 and still in full time education.Would I be able to put in a claim for unpaid carer council tax disregard for my 19 year old daughter as she does everything and is the only driver in the household also so picks up shopping and prescriptions etc. Thank you

Do you receive a disability benefit? If so it appears your daughter could qualify for a disregard if she cares for you for 35 hours per week.

That link is very helpful thank you. Just one more thing please.. if me and both my daughters are disregarded would that mean a 25% or 50% reduction on my council tax bill?

Found this

which implies that a 50% charge could still apply.
