Hello

I had my pip assessment on Tuesday. With my application I supplied a letter from my psychiatrist saying I was under his care, along with perscriptions and a letter stating I have a care plan. Do they normally contact health professionals?

Hi and welcome to the community

They don't often contact them but it isn't unknown for them to do so

The onus is on the applicant to provide evidence however it is only if it is relevant and details how your condition affects you against the descriptors

Medical professionals dint see you bathing , cooking , dressing,  toileting etc

It’s very rare, it’s your responsibility to provide whatever evidence you believe will be helpful to your application.

    Hello,

My GP said that the Assessor asked the GP to fill in a form. What is this form? Thanks

It’s a form DWP sometimes send to GPS to gather more information about your health conditions.
