I first provided a sick note on the 4th November 2020. I had my LCWRA assessment on the 11th December 2020. My assessment period is from the 19th - 18th of each month and I get paid on the 25th of each month. I was awarded LCWRA on the 18th January 2022. Just wondering how much I will be entitled to in back payments and roughly when I will get it thank you

    AP is19th - 18th of each month
    Reported on
4th November 2020 which is in the October to November AP.
The waiting period is Nov-Dec, Dec-Jan and Jan-Feb.
LCWRA payable with the February-March payment paid on 25th March 2021.

You will see the LCWRA in your next payment.
It will take longer for them to calculate arrears because they have to recalculate each month and then compare it with what you were previously paid in order to work out what is owed. You will be paid the arrears separately.

Note that once the previous statements are recalculated they will overwrite the previous statement so if you want a record of the previous statements you should make copies now.

(All of the above assumes you are not on a joint claim which already includes LCWRA for a partner.)

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

I assumed it was a typo and assessment was December 2021. Unlikely to have assessment within 5 weeks of first Fit Note (even pre-Covid)

That is truly bizarre then. You had an assessment within five weeks of reporting your health condition (they don’t normally send you the health form for four weeks) but then waited 13 months for a decision after that!

Unless you had to take it to Tribunal which may explain why it took that long but even then that’s a long time to wait.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

They already knew that I had health conditions prior to going on the sick so not sure if that's why I got the forms so fast? But yes waiting over a year for a decision has been awful. I've sent 3 messages in my journal the last being the 6th January this year, then I just got my decision on the 18th
