Hi @Velma
Welcome to Scope’s forum. It is great to see you have joined us. How are you today?
I hope you know we are here to support you and your son. Is there anything in particular that you want support with? Or just the loneliness?
Either way, we are here for you. I think we are a supportive and friendly community and I hope you will find the same! I can see some of our wonderful community members have already greeted you.
Take care for now and I will look forward to hopefully hearing from you again soon!

A warm welcome to the community from me too @Velma How are you finding the community so far?
I was just wondering whether your son was receiving enough support to help him manage his schizophrenia at the moment?
He'd be welcome to join too, of course! Many people experience loneliness and isolation, and online communities can be a good way of easing those feelings as well as helping people to gain confidence in having conversations and finding people who have similar interests to them. Does he have any particular interests or hobbies?
