Hello everyone,
Out of the blue two days ago a lady from the DWP called regarding my pip claim which I had lodged an appeal for on the 29th December asking for more information to which I replied "it's a little late now isn't it" a little rude I know but I think most people who have had to go through the pip process will understand .
She asks some questions, 2-3 regarding travelling and medication and then says she can offer me enhanced daily living and standard mobility for 3 years based on this extra information, 5 minutes of of me speaking to change a decision that took a year to review... Twice
From being awarded 2 points, medical assesor cherry picking information for report, mandatory reconsideration that took 13 weeks and not changing their original decision even with a bulk of fresh medical evidence to what I've been offered as I start the appeal process is level of illogical hypocrisy I can't believe we're actually living with.
I am thankful that my year long ordeal is over but I'm more frustrated and angry that they have the nerve to do this to people because it's clear that it's intentional and they know when an appeal is most likely to be won.
A government agency statistically trying to not help it's disabled citizens like a company statistically tries to avoid paying corporation tax is what I see.
