What do the assessors or dwp have access to? My dealings with doctors and/or my prescription records from the pharmacy?

Normally they don't check anything themselves - it is your responsibility to provide them with copies of information that you consider relevant. They don't have direct access to any of your medical records.thejuice said:What do the assessors or dwp have access to? My dealings with doctors and/or my prescription records from the pharmacy?1 -
I have a vague recollection of ticking something which said to give permission for them to talk to my doctor? I guess that's not direct access to my records0

No. It means they have your permission to contact your GP if they wish to (which they mostly don't).thejuice said:I have a vague recollection of ticking something which said to give permission for them to talk to my doctor? I guess that's not direct access to my records0 -
In just over 8 years of claiming PIP myself and 3 reviews they have never contacted anyone for any evidence. The onus is on you to prove you qualify.0

I hope that's put your mind at ease a bit @thejuice. Are you happy with the evidence you provided?
