Hello anyone who's here,
I receive PIP, I get the basic Living component and nothing else, I suffer from Social Anxiety that effects me leaving home and all that comes along with it, I can't use public transport as I'm terrified to be alone and get lost,
I've also a physical disability but it doesn't effect the distance I walk enough to be classed as extra points,
I know they changed the law regarding people with mental health issues and the mobility points,.I should have been receiving at least the minimum amount since 2016,
Ive received a letter to pretty much tell me this BUT I've been told because I went to tribunal (after they tried to totally cancel my PIP entirely) and I won BUT this had nothing to do with theis matter,
I'm terrified of saying anything because of my anxiety, the letter pretty much says
"if you want us to look at the matter again we may look at your total claim and ask you in for an assessment"
I
t's terrible it's there to scare vulnerable NOT to say anything, it's an obvious warning and of course it scares people off as the Assessment process and Companies are so unreasonable it's awful going through the process as we know,
I've absolutely no idea why I'm effected because I won a tribunal back in 2016 that wasn't anything to do with the mobility component and mental health,
I hope someone could help or give me advice please

I have had the same letter too, its worded to confuse.... I also had a previous tribunal decision but that was in 2015 not for the award 2017-2021, I called them today and was told they will look at the decision again not an issue and that it WILL NOT effect my current claim. Please call them.
They will only look at assessing your whole claim again if it relates to your current award you want to challenge. Be aware those people who were not entitled due to the changes have already been written to an informed of this. You stand a good chance of backpay my friend.1
