    Hi,
You can work and continue to receive your LCWRA element. You will have a work allowance which will be either £335 per month if you claim for help with the rent or £557 if you don't. This means you can receive that amount of earnings each assessment period before the 55% deductions apply.
If you start work you need to report it onto your journal.
You do need to be careful that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you were found to have LCWRA then the decision could go against you when you're next reassessed.

I will be working in the recovery sector helping and supporting people who suffer from addiction but as I said it’s temporary basis on the fact that my mental health is up and down all the time but feel like I can try help and support others

Can anyone tell me if this is true

f you are getting Universal Credit, you have Limited Capability for Work and you also get PIP, there is no maximum on the hours that you can work or the amount that you can earn – Though the more you work, the more likely it is that the DWP will want to reassess your work capability.

This only applies to those that have reported a health condition while they currently work. If they receive more than 16xNMW each month then they can't be referred for a work capability assessment unless they have a PIP or DLA award.
For you, any earnings you receive each month above the work allowance will reduce your UC by 55%, the more you earn, the less UC you will receive.
