Hi, I am supporting a 13 year old with CP and she would like to talk to someone about her personal identity as she is finding it hard to meet people with life experiences in common with hers. Are there any groups/forums that we can look at together?

Hi @Fin
We have many members living with CP, including myself and I would be more than happy to have a chat with you and see how I can help.0 -
Thanks so much for your quick responses. I will share this with her next week and we can get back to you together, if she wants to do so.1

Hello @Fin thanks for joining the community, and welcome.
I also have CP, so would be happy to share my own experiences. Thinking back to my 13 year old self, I can certainly relate.
You're quite welcome to have a browse of the CP category here on the forum too. If you've got any questions, even if just about the forum, let us know

Hiya @Fin,
I'm just dropping by to say that I'd also be more than happy to share my experiences with CP. Also: thanks so much for reaching out to the community about this. It's so valuable to have this kind of support if you're growing up disabled and I'm sure she's really grateful to have you in her life, too0 -
Thank you all so much for your support - I will let you know how it goes0
