Pip assessment 17minutes, is this a bad sign?

Hi there, I'm new to this and in September I applied for pip (fibromyalgia, anxiety, irritable bowel problems and other things that go along with toilet problems, anyway, last Friday I had my assessment which was only 17 minutes long, she was very nice and asked question but I feel it was over too quickly, I said is that it and she replied yes! I've got enough information. That was it!? What I'm worried about is that I didn't give any Dr letters just names of consultants and phone numbers as well as my incontinence nurse too. Have anyone ever just given phone numbers and addresses of their consultants and had pip? Thanks 😊

Hi,It doesn't mean anything other than they had all the information they needed so there was no further questions to ask. My shortest assessment was 10 minutes and longest was 90 minutes and never had any problems with any claims. They very rarely contact anyone for any evidence, the onus is on you to prove you qualify and send evidence to support your claim.Decision waiting times are anything between 2-12 weeks.2

Thank you both! The assessor said a week or two but I'll just have to see, she was also very helpful with my questions asking me if I had a stool or chair in the kitchen and you must get really anxious when out, I felt she was on my side but time will tell.0

A long and anxious wait by the looks. Thanks 😊0

Assesment times vary for people, It all depends what problems people have, mine was 30 minutes, I got rejected, And I should receive my MR next week as I called them earlier.0

At this stage it's impossible to predict anything.
