LCWRA ending

I get the LCWRA premium but over the past twelve months have progressively increasing my work hours such that I am now working 33 and sometimes 44 hours a week as a care assistant. I have kept UC informed along the way and in December advised them that I no longer felt that my health affected my ability to work. I did this via a change of health note in my Journal.
I expected that LCWRA would stop but it is still being paid. I have enquired about this in my Journal. The response is that I continue to be eligible for the payment until it ends or is reviewed.
I am concerned that when they do stop the payment I will be hit with a claim for the payments to be repaid as overpayment.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

Good morning @Mike456
I hope you are well today and having a nice weekend, thanks for making this post.
I can understand your concern, I'm sure that many others would feel the same anxiety. This isn't an area I have much knowledge of, but have you compared your earnings against the UC work allowance to see if you fit within the limits? You can read information here about the work allowance and how it works.
It's positive that you have gradually felt better and more confident over the past year, and I hope you are enjoying your role.0 -
Thanks Ross for your comments.I am ok re work allowance as I have a dependent teenage daughter ( single Dad ) so will continue to get this if LCWRA does stop. My wage and rent are such that I would still get some UCSomeone ( not on here) had suggested that I should make a specific request to cease my LCWRA claim but this does feel a little like “shooting myself for in the foot “ when I am actually through a quirk in the UC system, entitled to the extra £343 payment in my UC until they stop it.0
