Trying to find a solicitor would will help me take legal claims of discrimination
I am trying to find a solicitor would will help me take legal claims of discrimination against businesses in the UK.
I get refused, judged and abused because i have ASD and have a service dog. Thing is the service dog does not need to be registered to a charity, nor do i need to be blind or deaf, my dog does not need to be a labrador either.
I also want help from people who can video these events that happen all the time and make it a thing on social media.

Hello @DaxPup and welcome to the community, and thanks for reaching out with your query. I'm not sure how best to advise you fully, but hopefully our members will share their thoughts soon.
To help our members find your post, I've changed the title slightly, moved it into our 'disability rights and campaigning' category, and marked it as unanswered.
I'm sorry to hear about the barriers you've been facing when trying to access businesses, I know it's immensely frustrating, so seeking some advice might be a good step to take. If you haven't already done so I'd encourage searching on AdviceLocal.
If anything else comes up, please don't hesitate to ask for help.

@DaxPup good afternoon and welcome to scope, I'm really not sure that you would be able to possible to take legal action against business(s) in the uk for discrimination.
Perhaps you could explain in more detail what you mean?Seasons greetings to one and all 🎄🎅🏻🌲 -
Hi and welcome to the community
You would need a specific occurrence of disability discrimination in order to take legal action
Acas is an advisory service that supports individuals with employment issues you may want to take a look at their website
If you have a case against an employer you can apply to tribunal but getting a solicitor to take on your case will cost as there is no legal aid available
If you are struggling to find work scope have a support to work programme you may find useful have a look in the employment section

Hi @DaxPup - & welcome to the community. I wonder if EASS (Equality Advisory & Support Service) may be able to advise. Here's a link: https://www.equalityadvisoryservice.com/app/home

I wasn't saying you couldn't take action more that there needs to be a specific reason like you quoted eg refusing entry to restaurant
The op didn't really give any examples to determine what had happened
I think I got the wrong impression and didnt read the post right as I took it they were referring to employment issues
I apologise -
@Username_removed thanks but your comment did make me read back and I could see I was off topic and wasn't employment related
Prob had my head in the clouds at the time -
Username_removed said:Wasn’t actually commenting on your post @janer1967. Another poster who persists in posting bizarre opinions and opinion dressed as fact. Apologies for any confusion on that point.
OP if I have confused what you were asking please accept my apology.Seasons greetings to one and all 🎄🎅🏻🌲 -
