I’m in a bit of a situation and I feel like due to my avoidance behaviour because of my anxiety disorder (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) I missed my PIP assessment I was too anxious to pick up the call, I didn’t have support from the advocate at the time so I didn’t know how to handle the assessment.
I was sent this letter from Capita

Yes, those personal details are showing, which include your address and your NI number. This is a public forum and you shouldn't post these sort of details and it's also against the rules. You can edit your post within 59 minutes of posting the comment and i'd advise you to remove your details. The letter is from DWP and not capita. You need to request the Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) on that decision and you need to give your reasons why you didn't attend the assessment. You are outside the 1 month but with good reason you have 13 months.3

Yes that’s correct they sent me the letter on 23 November giving me a month to reply , I did tell them my reasons for not attending and if they can reconsider, however I feel personally my avoidance behaviour messed things up, it’s common for me to avoid things due to my anxiety often times leading to me making things worse.

I have requested for a mandatory reconsideration, however I still have not received a letter DWP, what’s the best option for me? Shall I contact DWP? Please advise0

MR decision's are currently taking 2-12 weeks, sometimes longer. Backlogs are huge.
