Esa reassessment

I have never had reassessment and I am in the the support group it's been 4years now last year I was told June then November now July it's quite strange that I have had 3 pip assessment every time after that the ESA assessment changes I don't know If I am looking more into what's there getting very anxious about this not sure if I should ring

Support Group is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise. We've been in a pandemic for almost 2 years which has meant even more backlogs so those that are already in a group will likely be left alone for longer than usual. They will be concentrating on first time assessments because of the backlogs and some are waiting up to a year.Personally, i wouldn't worry about it and i certainly wouldn't be ringing them.0

PIP awards are for fixed periods.
ESA decisions are ongoing until reassessed.0 -
Thanks for your reply , just anxious about my ESA , as I got my pip sorted out I am on a ongoing award , lot people are going on about this new esa but sure I would get it0

If you get contribution based ESA then when you transfer to UC in the future your contribution based ESA will convert to new style ESA, any income based ESA will end.0 -
Sorry for the late reply, thanks that's help me understand , what's going on it's just made me very anxious about the ESA assessment , not sure how this we'll work do I get video call or home visit , as not sure ,if there still not doing home visit0

At the moment assessments are still mostly done by telephone, some are face to face but no home visits. Whether this will change in the future, is anyones guess.
