I'm trying to claim ESA. Does anyone know how long the process takes?

I’m new to the site , awaiting to hear back trying to claim esa , does anyone know how long does this process take , applied on  20/1/22 ??

Hi,

Usually it takes a few weeks, sometimes longer. To be entitled to New style ESA you will have needed to have paid the correct amount of NI contributions in tax years April 2019 - March 2021.
