Hi

I type slow communicate on the keyboard. But can be rude because I don’t read back. Because I feel like I have to rush it

    Hi @Chokolateman

Thanks for your response. I hear you. Is your symptom related to your typing speed or do you also have other symptoms that you would like to discuss the management for? We can explore as much or as little as you like. Though please know we don't give medical advice  :)

    Hi @Chokolateman

Ah, thanks for clarifying. Honestly, this is not my area of expertise. This means I am hoping someone else can respond to you soon. Cerebral palsy is usually @Richard_Scope's area of expertise.

Though, it would help to know which symptoms of cerebral palsy you are struggling with, in particular, if you feel comfortable sharing. It would just mean we can support you the best we can  :)

Of course, forgetting things and struggling to concentrate both counts. They are both things you are struggling with, no matter their reasoning for struggling with these. We can explore both of these with no problem at all.

Are you using lists and taking regular breaks etc? I often find post-it notes and timers really helpful for these difficulties! But I am aware different things help different people. It is okay if not everything helps you :)

Thanks for explaining your symptoms @Chokolateman, I also have CP, and I have a weaker right side and walk on my toes.

Have you spoken to anyone recently about wanting to work through your symptoms, like your GP, or Occupational Therapist or Physio if you have them?

What would successfully working through them look like to you? :)
