I just wanted to say I have had a real positive experience with calling scope for help on completing a PIP form for my daughter " the form was just overwhelming for me" the 2 ladies I spoke to were brilliant ,provided follow up phone calls and information emailed through to me with pointes.
With this experience I wanted to join the group and say Hi
Does anyone else have any advice or help with completing this form?
Thank you

Hi,When completing the form you should add a couple of real world examples of what happened the last time your daughter attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to her. Include information such as where she was, did anyone see it, what exactly happened and what the consequences were. This link will help you have more understanding of the descriptors and what they mean. https://pipinfo.net/

Good morning @Rachaelr1,
I'm so glad that you had such a positive experience with the Scope team. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the community. I hope to see you around the various categories soon.
My only advice would be to do what you have already done -- ask for support -- which is great. I know that I would have been completely lost throughout my own application(s) if it hadn't been for my mum. It really is so complicated and it's important to stick together with these things! Fingers crossed that other members can elaborate soon0 -

Welcome to the community @Rachaelr1
I'm really glad to hear that you had a positive experience with our helpline team!
As poppy123456 has said, giving some real world examples is often the best way forward. Some people also find it helpful to keep a diary of activities they (or in this case, your daughter) struggled with so that they don't forget anything, and have some recent examples to give. Here's a template from Citizens Advice that you might find helpful.0 -
