    Had you been paid the holiday pay why not working the holiday pay would have been been ignored (if your ESA is new style ESA) provided it is was paid more than 4 weeks after you went off sick.

    In the situation that you have started to earn again I am uncertain about the holiday pay for the period for the period for the period you are not working. It may depend on the terms of your contract.

    i wish I had requested this then while I was off do know if my esa will suspended or the claim will be cancelled?

    If you breach the earnings threshold ESA will stop. If you claim again within 12 weeks it will treated as a linked claim and you would still qualify. After 12 weeks you will not qualify for ESA again until you have built up a qualifying NI record again.
