Hi there
The assessment will involve asking you questions about your mobility , what you would use chair for eg inside or outside or both , measuring your doors and access to property
They also measure you and weigh you and discuss type of chair which would be suitable
You may have a long wait for assessment depends on your local service0 -
Hi @Ashvinney
Thanks for your great question. I appreciate how much courage this must take to process. How are you currently feeling about things?
I can see @janer1967 has already responded to your question. Can I please confirm if you feel your question has been answered?
If you do need anything to be further clarified or any further support with this, please do just let us know

I can imagine that could feel quite upsetting @Ashvinney, but I'd hope that getting a wheelchair could help you to feel more independent, and enable you to get around more easily. Do you think there could be any other positives?
