I have done my appeal and it has been lodged it says.
It also says DWP has to respond by a specific date, what does that exactly mean? I'm a bit confused.
Thank you

Hi @Gazzanova and thanks for the update, I just wanted to wish you the best for your appeal. How are you feeling about it?
I'm sure that another member will be able to clear up what that sentence might mean exactly,0 -
It means exactly what it says. They will respond with their reasons why they think you’re not entitled to PIP and oppose the appeal. They don’t always respond within the timescale given.

So can they give a extra points so they don't have to go to appeal or?poppy123456 said:It means exactly what it says. They will respond with their reasons why they think you’re not entitled to PIP and oppose the appeal. They don’t always respond within the timescale given.0 -
Sometimes DWP will offer an award but this is rare so don't expect that to happen.
