ESA SDP. My daughter is due a back payment, but we're still waiting. How can I talk to someone?

Hi I made a claim for SDP on 5-1-22 my daughter is registered blind and also gets higher rate PIP which has had since 2012. She moved house in 2016. She has been awards the SDP but is date a back payment each time I ring we go round the houses to be told some one will ring me back ! And guess what still waiting. How do I get to talk to some one with a answer !

Hi,
When ringing DWP you are ringing a call centre, not someone from DWP itself. They read from a screen and can only tell you what’s on that screen.
It can take a few weeks for them to assess to see if she was entitled to it from the date you mentioned.Once a decisions been made a decision letter will be sent.0
