    Hi @Shazza1986

Thanks for your great question. Firstly, do you know for sure that the outcome was an issued EHCP? If so, you should be sent a copy of the EHCP when it is ready. Some of the processes are taking longer than usual but they should communicate this openly with you.

Please feel free to get in contact with your local authority if you are not sure and it is more than 16 weeks from the request for assessment. You can find more information at https://www.ipsea.org.uk/what-happens-in-an-ehc-needs-assessment.

I hope this helps but if we can do anything to support you further, please don't hesitate to let us know  :)

Still waiting for the Ehcp I find out more off my 4 year old sons diabetes team than I do off his school he's only In still half days I've tried everything but hitting a brick wall with every turn I've gone to la to say it's unlawful and the school are saying he's violent so there saying it's not unlawful I'm hoping to get him in a specialised School before he misses out on too much xx

    Hi @Shazza1986

Thanks for your response. I hear your frustrations. I am glad to hear things are going well with your son's diabetes team. In all honesty, it should be the educational psychologist you hear from. Are you on the multi-agency website where you can see the live updates from the other members (teachers and the educational psychologist, etc.) or is your application paper-based? Always here for you if you would like to discuss this further with us  :)

You are welcome @Shazza1986. Please do be aware though that this tends to vary across different local authorities. However, I think it is still worth a try if this is something you feel would be beneficial for you. We will continue to be here for you. Do let us know if we can anything else to help  :)

    Hi @Shazza1986

Really pleased to hear you have received the educational psychologist report. That must be a relief! I hope it goes well speaking to them about the things that have changed. Hopefully, they will be able to ensure the plan accords to current needs if possible. Communication is good. Please feel free to keep us up to date if you would like to  :)
