Cancelled operation

Tomorrow I was supposed to be having a new hip fitted. But yesterday the operation was cancelled due to my hemoglobin levels being too low. The cause appears to be the amount of new tablets prescribed that I am taking for my kidney condition.
I have to say, I wasn't looking forward to it, but because now I cannot walk more than a few paces without lots of support, I need it and was looking forward to having a much better year ahead. I was supposed to have it at this time last year so lost a year there. Now I see no future, for I have no idea what will happen next..

I'm sorry to hear your op has been cancelled and how disappointed you must be
I would contact your consultant and enquire what the plan is going forward0 -
Sorry to read about your op being cancelled, hopefully if you can get your hemoglobin levels up then they will reassess you again for your op0

Sorry to hear that @Dragonslayer I would be very frustrated if it was me. I hope you get it rebooked within a decent amount of time.0

Thanks to all for the comments. I am waiting for the consultant to get back to me with a future plan. In the meantime he has reduced my intake of the drug by two thirds.1
