There are almost 4,000 children in England with multi-sensory impairment (MSI) and everyone has the right to an education. Our research reveals that 52% of local authorities don’t employ any MSI teachers. Families tell us they’re struggling to access support for their child.
We’re calling on gov't to create a new MSI Education Fund to train and employ teachers across England. In March, gov't will announce new spending plans. That's why we must act now to make sure all disabled children are supported at school.
You can help make sure children with MSI have the best start in life. Click the link to email your MP and ask them to support a new MSI fund - it only takes 2 minutes to make a big difference 📩
