My assessment was over 7 weeks ago. Can I still give them further information?

Hi all, Last year I applied for pip due to ongoing mobility issues most likely brought on by arthritis in my pelvis.
The assessment person was lovely but I realised afterwards I forgot to mention certain things, like I had first spoke to doctors re problems  in 2018. My assessment was over 7 weeks ago. Is it worth me informing them now or should I wait to receive a letter from DWP? I did provide recent X-rays. Also if I phone for assessment report how long does it take to be sent. Thanks B

    Hi,
It doesn't really matter that you first spoke to your doctors in 2018 about your conditions. What matters is that you've been experiencing issues for at least 3 months and there's often no dispute with this.
Requesting the assessment report isn't always a good idea because it often causes a lot of needless stress and anxiety, especially if it's not exactly what you expected to read. It's also not a decision, just a recommendation from the HCP.
If you do request it, you can ring PIP and it could take a few weeks for you to receive it.

If it's your first time claim and you're not transfering from DLA then money usually goes into your bank before you receive the decision letter, if successfully awarded. Waiting times for decisions is 2-12 weeks.

Hi I have now received a letter from the DWP saying I have not been awarded anything. I have also received my assessment in which I scored no points.
I intend to go for MR as I feel justified in doing so, also the assessment clearly states difficulty in certain areas but awards no points.
Is there anything specific I should include in the MR  letter?
    Thanks
