IN 2007 i was struck down with an illness, after 4 sets of scans the last at Harley Street London , The diagnosis was bilateral formal stenosis with route nerve compression of the spine, i have not worked after that point as i could hardly move at all, When the local welfare came to see me , one of the questions i asked will i get my national insurance stamps paid , yes they answered, i retired Jan 3rd 2021, my pension was £82 PER WEEK, AS OF NOW it is £84, I HAVE ASKED CONTINUALLY about these missing stamps , its like hitting a concrete wall , no one wants to know, i have added to the spinal problem with my right hip wanting replacing 3 yrs ago , last health issue 13th January 2020 i suffered a large saddle pulmonary embolism which i was lucky to survive, STILL I HAVE NO ANSWER to who should have paid my stamps, we struggle to live full story available my mp wrote a letter to the N.I. STAMPS UNIT BUT STILL NOTHING , ANY IDEAS ON THIS SUBJECT.

HI,Whether your NI credits would have been paid would have depended on which benefits exactly you claimed. If you did, were you single or claimed with a partner? If you claimed with a partner, were the benefits in their name or yours? Not all benefits pay NI credits. If you're now claiming your State Pension are you single or living with a partner? If living with a partner are they State Pension age or younger?0

If you can sign up to HMRC gateway it lets you check your NI record year by year and see when and if there were any gaps.1
