Hello to Scope online community
I was thinking of sending a poem to NHS charity but I am not sure you are allowed to do this0 -
Apologies to Scope online community but added a few new lines to the poem
Remembering the NHS Staff
who we have lost during
the Covid 19 Pandemic.
You all went beyond your duty.
The doctors and nurses were courteous
to our loved ones during the pandemic.
I know it means to be hard
for some families who lost a family member
who was a doctor or nurse
who loved their job treating people
who had symptoms of Covid 19 and were fighting for their lives.
Courage, determination
the doctor and nurses are still working,
not shrinking away from giving their best.
The doctors and nurses we have lost,
I salute you all
as you answered the call in the nation's hour of need.
You all remain in our thoughts
now looking down at us from heaven,
now you have become stars.
They have allowed normality to return
to our lives so they are national heroes
it shows by the claps we give in your honour.
I would also take my hat off to all the NHS Staff who are still working on the front line to help people who are battling and fighting for lives against Covid19.
You're all doing a truly glorious job. I know hard not to sob but stay stronger you are our gladiators facing this never-ending battle.
